The Eagle Has Landed. This is essentially a text version of some of the interviews that went into making the Rockumentary, but it's got great photos and typical Henley quotes. MTV Summer To Go, Summer, 1990.

Don's preface from Heaven is Under Our Feet. Don shows that he's an amazing writing with a great understanding and intellect for all things environmental. If you haven't read this in a while, consider doing so again. We hadn't picked up the book in ages and it was interesting to go back and read these things 15 years later. Of course now the Tom Cruise and Paula Abdul pieces don't seem quite so cool.

Don Henley's Introduction to Radio Waves Don wrote this into to LA DJ Jim Ladd's book. In it, Don discusses the history of radio and his association with Jim Ladd as well as telling us where he dropped acid for the first time. 1991.

Too Many Choices This is THE GQ article everyone is always looking for. Pretty much the definitive article of the EOI Era. GQ August, 1991.

Musicians In Tune Don participated in this interesting project. Jenny Boyd (sister of Pattie Boyd, George Harrison's first wife) who was married to Ian Wallace (Don's drummer, who some of you might remember passed away earlier this year) interviewed musicians about their creative process. These interviews were turned into the book Musicians in Tune and it's a very interesting read. We've cobbled together every page that Don is mentioned on for your reading pleasure. 1992
